Among the Pine Branches

This series comes from a simple childhood memory. Hours would pass as I looked up into a pine tree, imagining what it would be like to live among the branches. There’s a kind of magic in how a tree stands strong and provides shade, comfort, and a resting place that is always changing.

This work is not about recreating a tree, it is instead a whimsical portrayal of the frequent visitors and objects that find themselves among the pine branches.

These pieces invite the viewer back to a quieter time. When there was space to explore, to imagine, to dream, and to stay for hours in awe of nature’s beauty.
